GetVRF ("we," "us," or "our") operates getvrf.com (the "Site"). This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit a form — the newsletter signup, the contact and installer-matching form, the partner application, the incentive-alert signup, or the calculator's report request — we collect the details you enter, such as your name, email address, role, project ZIP code, and any message or project details you provide.
Calculator inputs. The Solar-VRF Calculator runs entirely in your browser. The values you enter are not sent to us unless you choose to submit them with a report request or other form.
Usage data. We use privacy-friendly analytics to understand which pages and tools are used. This is aggregated and does not identify you personally (see "Analytics and cookies" below).

How we use your information

To respond to your inquiry and, where you request it, to match you with vetted installers or partners.
To send the newsletter or incentive alerts you signed up for. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
To operate, maintain, and improve the Site, its content, and the calculator.
To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these cases:

Installer and partner matching. If you ask to be connected with an installer or partner, we share the relevant details you provided so they can follow up with you. We may earn a referral fee from these partners; this never changes what you pay.
Service providers. We use third-party providers to run the Site — currently Vercel (hosting), Formspree (form processing), and Plausible Analytics (privacy-friendly, cookieless traffic measurement), plus an email/newsletter provider for updates you opt into. They process data only to provide these services to us, and this list may change as our providers do.
Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of GetVRF, our users, or others.

Analytics and cookies

We use a privacy-focused analytics tool that measures traffic without cookies and without collecting personal data or tracking you across other sites. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Any cookies the Site sets are limited to what is needed for basic functionality.

Data retention

We keep the information you submit for as long as needed to respond to you, provide the service you requested, and meet legal or record-keeping requirements, then delete or anonymize it.

Your choices and rights
