These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of getvrf.com (the "Site"), operated by GetVRF ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Educational content — not professional advice

The Site provides general educational information about variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems, solar, and related incentives. The calculator produces screening-level estimates based on simplifying assumptions and publicly available data. Nothing on the Site is engineering, financial, tax, or legal advice, and it is not a substitute for a professional load calculation, energy audit, equipment quote, or advice from a licensed engineer or tax professional. Always verify figures with the relevant program administrators and qualified professionals before making decisions or committing capital.

No warranty on estimates and incentive data

Incentive programs, utility rates, and market prices change frequently and vary by project. We work to keep our data current and cite our sources, but we do not warrant that any estimate, incentive amount, rate, or other figure is accurate, complete, or applicable to your situation. You use the estimates and data at your own risk.

Referrals and affiliate relationships

We may match you with installers or partners and may earn a referral or affiliate fee if you engage them. This never changes what you pay and never changes the numbers our calculator produces. We are not a party to, and are not responsible for, any agreement, work, or transaction between you and a third-party installer or partner.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Site, including by attempting to disrupt it, access it through unauthorized means, scrape it at a scale that burdens our systems, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

Intellectual property

The Site and its content — text, graphics, logos, and the calculator — are owned by GetVRF or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws. You may view and share links to our content for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish, or create derivative works from substantial portions of the Site without our permission.

Third-party links

The Site links to third-party websites and resources for convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GetVRF and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any decisions made or actions taken in reliance on the Site or its estimates. We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the state and federal courts located in Delaware will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site.
